A very honest and sometimes hilarious account of Carol White's very interesting life.

This is a very honest and open account of a great and talented actress, Carol White. Yes, it does give a lot of juicy insight in her life. In view, of how Carol''s life ended it is a little sad. At the time of the book''s publication she was having a comeback with film and stage roles, returning to her native England. Sadly in less than a few months it would all be over and Carol would never again achieve the aclaim she had been acustomed to. It is a ghost written biography and I would have liked to have seen some answers from the Author in relation to some of the things Carol illustrates. However, she was a great Actress, who was at the top of her game at one stage and the next stage in great difficulty. Well worth reading the story of this great Actress who deserves to be remembered for her work and her role in the British film industry.
God bless her. -
Excellent insight into what should have been a homegrown actress that would have found endless work and continued fame in England. Wish she hadn't gone to Hollywood. Her end was tragic. The book reminded me of those times. I lived through most of them. Very nostalgic.

Great book which I really enjoyed and felt I got to know Carol White as I read every page. A beautiful woman/wonderful actress but some how was a lost soul who was searching for something she never found. Great read and would like to see it reprinted. They should make a film about Carol Whites life, it would be sensational. RIP Carol ❤️ Ray Gibbons.
